I need to irrigate late afternoon or before i go to bed.  The

Little anamolies through life14 Mar 2008 01:10 GMT6
Someone on this NG mentioned the "foggy" feeling that many sinus
sufferes suffer.  I started noticing some problems early in my life.
I was 14 and sitting in study hall when I noticed that one of my nasal
passages was totally closed.  The tissue was filled with mucus and
Fluid in my middle ear13 Mar 2008 18:02 GMT1
I've had fluid in my middle ear for 10 weeks now... hearing
loss is bad. I don't think I have an infection. Should I consider
having tubes put in? After how long should I really worry?
Thanks RS
Steroid irrigation works!13 Mar 2008 02:51 GMT6
After hearing about how steroid irrigation has helped
others here, I brought it up with my ENT.  He's a great
person, a great doctor, a great surgeon.  He had never
heard of doing this but agreed to let me try it.  That
My Recent Efforts, and a few questions13 Mar 2008 01:45 GMT7
I've suffered sinus symptoms for round about 2 years. Attempted
treatments include a few runs on antibiotics (augmentin, cipro,
levaquin), allergy related treaments (allegra, prednisone, flonase),
and more recently a few home remedies, complements of this forum. A
prevention11 Mar 2008 15:40 GMT2
I am dealing with sinus passages that get filled with mucus and then
completely close.  This gives me various other physical problems.  I
was constantly dealing with chronic drowsiness, fatigue, sinus
infections, and lack of cognitive acuity.  I have been punished in
Dialog with my ENT10 Mar 2008 13:53 GMT6

Doesn't that mean that there is SOMETHING wrong with my sinuses...?"
ENT: "No, your sinuses are fine."...and onto other topics

prednisone in a pinch10 Mar 2008 08:08 GMT7
Reading recent posts on prednisone I have to add my two cents and
say that although it has its challenges and its dangers sometimes it
is the only thing (after antibiotics, irrigation with all the
recommended additives and surgeries) that can return me at least in

Irritated Gums?05 Mar 2008 23:34 GMT3
Can a sinus infection cause gums to feel irritated? mine feel like they are
tingling or have pressure on them around my upper central teeth and on the
left hand side teeth too. I can't see anything wrong with my gums but it is
very irritating and sometimes feels like it affects ...
Irrigation and Baby shampoo05 Mar 2008 22:26 GMT45
Did I read correctly... Do some add baby shampoo to the saline
irrigation fluid?  ...And if so, does it help?     ...(And do you risk
getting diarrhea if goes down your throat?)  ...Jon
Is it normal.. when you start to feel better05 Mar 2008 12:25 GMT1
drainage is considerably less, green mucous is less (only makes an
appearance every couple of days).. actually the thickened saliva is
less.. that I have more pressure/pain in my frontal sinus (mostly in
the morning)? I'm still irrigating with a neti pot 2-3 times a day.

blood tests for sinus infection04 Mar 2008 18:58 GMT3
As you may know, you can have a low-grade deep sinus infection with no or
very little specific symptoms - just feeling miserable and maybe a vaguely
heavy-headed feeling.  Or no specific symptoms except for mucus draining into
your throat all the time.
