Frontal sinuses / ethmoid sinuses ,
Can you tell me if it is possible for the doctor to view these sinuses with
an endoscope ,in an office situation while awake ?

has anyone ever used or heard of "nose brace?"   It is a device which
opens the nasal passages and, unlike nosovent or breathe rite strips,
it can be worn during the day as it doesn't show or protrude from the
nostrils. (or so it promised)....It was expensive ($300 per side) but

This is the time of the year I often get a nasty sinus infection.
Last year it lasted 4 months.
What often happens is: I get sick; then my wife gets sick. We might
ping-pong a bit but she usually recovers quicker than me. Although in

it has been a while since i posted or even checked the posts on this site.
i had pretty much resigned myself to my condition.  i still irrigate 1-3
times daily but have pretty much given up on surgery.  i do still search
this site and the web occasionally.

I have been dealing with chronic nasal obstruction for about a year
now. I've been to 5 ENT docs and have gotten varying opinions. I had
submucous cautery done to my inferior turbinates back in mid May, but,
I still have head and facial pain, loss sense of smell, and the

hope you are finishing a celebratory weekend.  here in michigan we are
enjoying our wide temp/barometric swings that mark our change of
seasons.  i am predictably miserable & just wondering for yucks - why
do people who are prone to sinus/bronchial/other inflammatory

Thanks for all who replied previously. I am reposting here because the
discussion got "hijacked" into a discussion on obesity (No offense
intended, not saying it isn't an important issue, but it wasn't
relevant to sinusitis-headache). Here is the previous thread:

started feeling really crummy  a week or so ago.  convergence of
triggers & then my sinuses & ears are totally blocked.  after a couple
of days of very little drainage (again -thick white) & no relief from
the pressure/congestion (no pain yet), i went to the pcp & saw the

My MD made an appt for me with an ENT.
as he thinks this is what I have.
I fainted and fell a couple of months ago and ended up under our kitchen
table.
