| Nasal Irrigation May Not Be an Effective Method for Relief of Sinusitis | 28 Sep 2007 20:10 GMT | 17 |
I've tried Nielmed and Grossan. Neither really helped. I stopped about two years ago and I'm not better or worse. I will say that the Grossan forced fluid into my ear canal and gave me a massive double ear infection. At least with Neilmed you can control the force.

I use saline solution and then Flonase. What sprays do you use? For those who Flonase, how much do you use per nostril and how often? Mucho thankio

| Netti-Pot made things worse | 21 Sep 2007 17:20 GMT | 2 |
I don't know what (if anything) I'm doing wrong. I tried the Netti-pot. Each time there was no difficulty using it. The fluid went in one nostril and easily out the other. Not a lot of gook came out--pretty clear, which I expected. It felt fine doing it, but:

| I think I found my (smoking gun) cause of my condition. | 19 Sep 2007 10:43 GMT | 5 |
After doing a lot of face massage of my sinus maxillary area I traced tender spots to two or three upper teeth. My last trip to the dentist about four months ago turned up zero problems except a sensitive tooth.

| Nettipot looks hard to use | 18 Sep 2007 23:55 GMT | 6 |
Haven't tried it yet. Just bought one this afternoon, about $13.50 at Walmart. It's the blue one made by Neilmed. Hoping it helps. This sinus infection is raging now, just like a year ago. Hoping to hold out (it just started about 4 days ago). But if not better

| Sinofresh | 18 Sep 2007 20:35 GMT | 4 |
I just bought the Sinofresh at my local store. There is a money back guarantee on it so I thought I would give it a try. I am impressed! It got rid of that stagnant bad breath that one can get from bad allergies and sinusitis! I had this weird bad breath for years! Anyone else ...

| Who holds the world record for endoscopic sinus surgery? | 18 Sep 2007 02:36 GMT | 1 |
I don't think it's me -- yet -- but I'm considering #5, for a blocked left sphenoid that's making me miserable in all the usual ways. The other surgeries occurred over a 12 year period and involved other sinus cavities. They helped to varying degrees, but I still suffer

| Need new irrigation suggestions | 16 Sep 2007 20:17 GMT | 16 |
Well, dammit, that incipient sinus infection (I posted awhile ago that I sensed one was coming) seems to have arrived. Main symptoms for me as always: sore throat, sick feeling, somewhat irritated sinus feelings. No breathing problems.

| Need Help With Severe Sinus Problems | 15 Sep 2007 19:41 GMT | 2 |
I have had allergies & asthma since I can remember. In the past 5 years I have had 5 sinus surgeries to remove polyps and been to many doctors, none of which have any idea why my sinus problems are so severe. My sinus problems have reached a point that I am stuffed up

| Yellow Nail Syndrome | 13 Sep 2007 01:01 GMT | 3 |
Any suggestions to one suffering from Yellow Nail Syndrome? It is often associated with sinusitis and I have been suffering from pan-sinusitis for about 10 years - now age 63. Before this, I had beautiful strong nails and now I want them back.
