I've seen varying  recommendations for head position when performing nasal
irrigation and am wondering which is optimal.
The insert in a package of HydraSense that I bought shows a picture wherein
you lean over a sink and then tilt your head sideways so that one ear is

Well have another infection that won't go away, left sinus hurts to
even touch, sore throat, dizzy, congested, etc.  I see my ENT again on
Tuesday..I just hope they can help.

after my last post, the ENT prescribed me nasal drops (Xylometazoline)
and a steroid spray (Triamcinolone). He told me to take two drops and
two sprays twice a day in each nostril (in the morning and evening, = a
dose of 440mcg/day).

I found a reference to this in a prescribing newsletter: there is a
link in the article to the NIH clinical trials: from what I can tell,
it appears to be an aminogycoside--as allergy to the class of drugs
will eliminate you from the study.
