Ringing in ears due to...????24 Jun 2007 03:06 GMT14
For the last 8 days I've got a steady ringing in my ears. It came on
suddenly. It is somewhat annoying but not nearly as debilitating as the
sinus problems I've had. I have two questions:
1) Could this symptom (without any other symptoms) still be a sinus-related
no blockage in nose, is it sinusitis?21 Jun 2007 04:08 GMT3

POLL:  Weather-Related Sinusitis/Asthma21 Jun 2007 04:01 GMT14

weather-related sinusitis as I do.  I was diagnosed with adult-onset
asthma and the weather, needless to say, affects that as well.  It's
gotten to the point that I can practically forecast the weather based on

irrigation.  the patient instructions call for the bulb or medical

Diagnosing and treating sinus infections17 Jun 2007 20:09 GMT1
If you consult a physician, he will mostly diagnose sinus diseases by a complete history of your signs and by examining your sinus area and the upper respiratory system. A simple but efficient way to diagnose sinus inflammation and infection is to exercise pressure on the ...

Back to normal for over two weeks.14 Jun 2007 02:55 GMT7
Flunisolide and Loratadine seems to be working very well.
Have been feeling good and breathing clear for over two weeks now.
I still have a large polyp in the right side but not an issue any longer.
Time will tell but so far so good and I hope that it's permanent.  I assume

Fruit pectin protects allergens against degradation by stomach acid12 Jun 2007 02:58 GMT4
One mystery about allergies is how food allergens can survive the
transit through the stomach to cause trouble when they meet the immune
system in the intestines.  Many previous studies have suggested that
allergens can't survive the harsh mixture of acid and pepsin in the
Some advice please11 Jun 2007 08:18 GMT4
I'm just looking for a little bit of advice.  I had a cold about 4

without a sinus infection I seemed to pick up one about a week after
the cold cleared.  I went to the doctors who gaev me a weeks course of

Chronic Congestion & Confusion11 Jun 2007 06:24 GMT3
If anyone can share some insight with me.  I have had on-and-off, what I
felt were fairly regular and normal instances of nasal congestion
throughout my life.  Then around Christmas last year, it started again
with a cold as usual but the congestion never went away.  I almost got ...
