For as long as I can remember I have had congested sinus that I always
attributed to allergies until an allergy doctor told me (after doing the

For several years I've been using a nasal steroid on a daily basis.
Prior to that I used an over the counter nasal decongestant.  About

Feb. 19,"07 Day six: 35 grams Vitamin C , no complications but a little gas.

Feb. 14 "07 --2.5 grams (2500mg) Slight decrease in nasal swelling.  Didn't
need decongestant for the first night in over six weeks.
Feb.15 second day 5 grams vit. C  Further reduction in nasal swelling but

From several posts i have been surprised at the advice to not blow your
nose.  Or to do so at 5 PSI.  Or to do so by not plugging up one nostril
while clearing another.  I know that i am sinusly-challenged and wonder if
a lifetime of ear popping, shoulder-hunching, forceful blowing ...
