I recently had sinus surgery to remove polyps and generally decrease congestion. I got a sinus infection during the healing process and it's still there despite irrigation and a round of antibiotics (augmentin). The weird thing about this infection that I've never experienced is

Does anyone else have these symptoms? Please respond (with advice) if you do: 1) Can sleep 10 hours, and still wake up tired. 2) Ultra sensitive to cold weather.

I wonder if it's possible and safe to add a mucolytic to the solution for irrigation. It's 6 months now that I'm irrigating and the situation is better but not ok.

Severe taste disturbances are said to be a rare side-effect of inhaled corticosteroids like Nasonex. Where can I find out about the specific types of disturbances and how the disturbance occurs, and if the taste disturbance ever involves saltiness?

Just been back to the ENT who did my surgery...he reckons non-allergic rhinitis. I am due to take a blood allergy test, skin prick showd up clear last year, but if no allergies then it's non allergic. Does this mean I will always feel as I do now? How much can excercise,
