Stinky sinuses23 Oct 2006 00:40 GMT4
I recently had sinus surgery to remove polyps and generally decrease
congestion. I got a sinus infection during the healing process and it's
still there despite irrigation and a round of antibiotics (augmentin).
The weird thing about this infection that I've never experienced is

My experience & advice on nasal irrigation20 Oct 2006 12:09 GMT2
Just thought I would share my experiences and ask some advice if the Nasal
irrigator would be any help.
I first had sinusitis when I was about eight years old. Had it a couple of
times and antibiotics cleared it up. If ever I had a cold I occasionally had
Neilmed...there's the right way...18 Oct 2006 13:32 GMT11
and the wrong way to using the bottle?
I have a sneaking suspicion it's not working for me.  I use the Grossan
at home and the Neilmed bottle when I travel.  It never fails that when
I get home, within a couple of times of using the Grossan, I'll have

mucolytic in the solution ?16 Oct 2006 20:35 GMT4
I wonder if it's possible and safe to add a mucolytic to the solution for
irrigation.
It's 6 months now that I'm irrigating and the situation is better but not
ok.
Cold intolerance -- what helps?14 Oct 2006 17:27 GMT9
Here's my history:
I am a 40yo male, and have had what appears to be chronic sinusitis for
~15 years, first dx 6 years ago.  I get 1-2 acute infections each
winter, and these usually respond well to Avelox or Augmentin.  A CT
Hydropulse or similar in UK ?13 Oct 2006 11:35 GMT3
Hi, I am looking to try a Hydropulse unit to help with symptoms of
PND. I'd prefer to buy in UK and if anyone has one or knows a
supplier, I'd love to know where and your opinions on it.
Thanks, Rob.
Taste Disturbances corticosteroids12 Oct 2006 10:30 GMT1
Severe taste disturbances are said to be a rare side-effect of inhaled
corticosteroids like Nasonex. Where can I find out about the specific
types of disturbances and how the disturbance occurs, and if the taste
disturbance ever involves saltiness?
Is it possible to live a normal life with non-allergic rhinitis?09 Oct 2006 21:57 GMT4
Just been back to the ENT who did my surgery...he reckons non-allergic
rhinitis. I am due to take a blood allergy test, skin prick showd up
clear last year, but if no allergies then it's non allergic.
Does this mean I will always feel as I do now? How much can excercise,
