Concussions and irrigating29 Oct 2006 00:40 GMT2
I had a bike accident and sustained a concussion.  Right now, I have a
horrible headache along with the sinus pain.  Is it okay to go ahead
and irrigate or should I be careful with the concussion?
How long to continue antibiotics?28 Oct 2006 19:55 GMT2
I'm getting over a sinus infection brought on by my continual
congestion (turbinate hypertrophy). I have finished a 7 day course of
Augmentin Duo and have not noticed any more green phlegm. I do however,
still have the yucky sickly taste from the thick post nasal drip which

One week ago I started with a damn sinus infection. It is still bad and has

not pneumonia).
Doc prescribed Amoxicillan.

Is nasal spray good enough?26 Oct 2006 17:35 GMT8
I am getting terrible PND.  Is the nasal spray just as good as irrigation?
These pots and things people talk about don't seem to be available in
Australia, at least not in the pharmacies.  I'm hoping the nasal spray is
just as good.

What does sinus x-ray show/also avelox query26 Oct 2006 13:39 GMT5
OK, still doing miserably for 4 weeks.
The 10 days of amoxicillan helped a bit but hasn't done the trick (it did
knock out some bronchitis though).
Now, here's the deal.
Will irrigation help these symptoms???26 Oct 2006 13:36 GMT5
I am having continuous sinus infection problems.
The major symptoms are the wiped-out sick feeling (feels like I have a fever
but don't), sore throat, lousy feeling in sinus (but no significant problems
breathing).
still having sinus problems26 Oct 2006 13:34 GMT3
Started with a sinus infection, went to bronchitis and started threatening
pneumonia all in 1 week.
Dr. prescribed amoxicillan. Within 2-3 days it helped tremendously, mostly
with the bronchitis, respritory problems. Thank goodness for that. I started
How to live without Cilia?26 Oct 2006 13:31 GMT4
I had a severe nasal cauterization of my nasal passage way that
left me without (i believe) much cilia left in the path of the acid
that
was applied throughout my nasal passageway.
Peroxide irrigation????26 Oct 2006 13:25 GMT2
Is this method of irrigation ok/safe, is there anyone in this group
currently using this method?
The Continuing Saga26 Oct 2006 13:13 GMT2
I've (or so I thought) been suffering the symptoms of sinusitis for 7-8
months now. I outlined much of what has happened in a previous thread
that can be found <a

Irrigation and allergy treatment24 Oct 2006 16:30 GMT9
As I've posted many times here, I was sick most of last year and this
year with a chronic sinus infection .  I was at the brink of ethmoid
and maxillary surgery when I switched to an ENT who changed his
treatment to 30 day Levaquin, Medrol pak, and horse pill size

I'm having continuing violent spasms inside the right side of my
nose (turbinate?) and underneath my right eye and the steroid

and now I'm starting to get pain in the left side of my nose and
