In the higher up sinuses what causes a slower flapping or pulsating
sound instead of the usual smooth vibration.  Does this indicate
polyps, swelling or something else ?  Can it be diagnosed without a
scan, by looking into the nostrils ?

So - after 10 years of antibiotics, oral steroids, nasal sprays, 2
surgeries, countless endoscopic examinations, allergy tests  etc and the
