It is 4 months I'm irrigating. I noticed that the situation didn't improve so I started to turn my head upside down and increase gently the pressure to force the liquid into the sinuses.

It's too soon to tell how good this is going to get or if it's going to last, but I have virtually no PND, no feeling of congestion, and pretty much nothing but water came out after irrigating today and yesterday.

My ENT came back from his holidays after 5 weeks and examined me Post Op(Mini FSS-widening of Ostia). He said my sinuses had healed "beautifully" post op. He also said he found normal mucosal fluid,evidence of past sinus disease,a very serious problem of the thinness of my bone ...

Don. Sorry for being so direct. I have read that your surgery was a great success. I was just wondering if you had submucous resections of your inferior turbinates done? If so, were they done with a microdebrider? Your help has been truly invaluable.

The augmentin cleared up the infection. I have been off of it for a week. I've been taking OTC Claritin and using a Nasocort spray. It has been about three days since I've had the need to use irrigation with the Nasaline syringe. IOW, so far, so good.
