White mucous and turbinates questions18 Apr 2006 08:51 GMT5
I posted before about my sinus problem. My first sinus infection at the
start of January has now cleared. I am however still troubled by the
ear fullness sensation on my right ear. It is not as bad as before but
I would really wish to get rid of this problem.
Your Experience With Sinus Busters17 Apr 2006 03:29 GMT2
I've gone back and searched old messages, but could not find much on
anyone's experience with the Sinus Busters pepper spray.  I tried a bottle
and used it only when going to bed.  It seemed to clear things out pretty
good and made it easier to fall asleep.

I had my Fess surgery a week ago due to large nasal polyps and
re-occurring infections and also having no sense of smell for the last
2 years. I had put off the surgery once, but decided on going ahead
with the surgery after 3 separate lots of antibiotics would not shift
Balloon Sinuplasty12 Apr 2006 05:07 GMT8
On the ABC news the other night there was a segment on a new procedure
for sinus sufferers. It's called Balloon Sinuplasty. I Googled for
additional information. I came up with the following site.

I'm a on a war-path on my pnd problem...My ENT thinks I have to

5 year old with chronic sinusitis09 Apr 2006 06:19 GMT13
My daughter was diagnosed with chronic sinusitis yesterday by an
allergist at Children's Memorial Hospital.  He didn't culture her, just
took her history, looked up her nose and down her throat etc.  He did a
bunch of skin tests and she was negative on skin tests.

I have been diagnosed as above after many years of illness and surgery

I have been on antibiotics for 11 months out of 14 one surgery in June
and one in Feb. I am sick literally all of the time as you all know how
that goes.  I have a 2.5 year old who is suffering from all of this as
well as having some sinus trouble also.  We live in Knoxville, TN so ...
TX for nasal polyps06 Apr 2006 16:02 GMT15
A few months ago my Allergist put me on a new therapy for nasal polyps.
I take a syringe (no needle) and fill it with 8 cc's of saline, and add
a pulmicort respual (sp) to equal 10 cc's.
I mix it and hang off the side of my bed and do a sinus flush for 10

I am so sick of this I could scream.  I just had surgery a year ago this
month.  Normally that lasts years.  I now have a nagging headache and
(sorry) when I blow my nose it is very bloody.  Just on the left side.  That
has always been where my problem was/is.  If he says surgery ...

get lost i am opening a new one to ask if anyone is aware of any published
documentation on this treatment to which i could refer my doctor?
Irrigating and post nasal drip05 Apr 2006 17:33 GMT10
Per my ENT's advice I started irrigating on a daily basis to deal with
my post nasal drip problem.  And I'm glad I've picked up this habit,
it's really helped my nose feel cleaner and less stuffy.  On the other
