Daily Management28 Feb 2006 21:38 GMT8
I was just thinking about how crazy it is that there are so many
different irrigations systems and medications to take for chronic
sinusitis or nasal polyps.  As a help to everyone struggling with
regiments that don't work I thought it would be useful for people to

ear-popping problem27 Feb 2006 09:57 GMT1
I'm hoping that one or more group members can provide some information
or advice regarding the problem of frequent ear-popping.  This started
about five days ago, following a mild cold, and has continued to occur
frequently in my right ear.  My understanding is that the eardrum pops
Saw ENT doc for evaluation26 Feb 2006 00:13 GMT2
I have a CT scan next week.  I was surprised that he didn't want to wait to
see if the antibiotics would work.  He then explained the insurance
companies are changing policies on CT scans and they will eventually have to
be preapproved with a lot of paperwork, etc. and could take ...

Is there such a thing as being excessively sensitive to pseudoephedrine at any (practical) dosage?24 Feb 2006 05:47 GMT14
On my allergist's advice, I am experimenting with liquid
pseudoephedrine, in hopes of finding a dose that I won't find
overstimulating (and that won't raise my blood pressure, which has
gotten high in the past few years).
Betadine in my Grossan Hydra Pulse23 Feb 2006 14:43 GMT1
I am having a bad time at the moment-due for surgery on March 13th. Thought
I'd dry some Betadine in my Hydra Pulse. It gave me a bit of relief. Only
used it once-scared of poisoning myself. Has anybody else used this mixture/
solution and if so, could they tell me the "safe" ratios ...
Long-term effects of marijuana smoking on sinuses?23 Feb 2006 02:38 GMT3
This is all strictly hypothetical (of course!), but just how much
long-term damage could two and a half years of heavy marijuana smoking
cause (especially to someone with pre-existing allergy problems)?
Basically, I guess the question is: can it cause permanent damage?
Less than a year post a third surgery in 20 years22 Feb 2006 06:50 GMT3
Been having problems since before Thanksgiving but I just tried to endure
and hope for the best.  Finally I had to see my ENT doc yesterday.  He did
that scope on me with the long tube with the light on the end so he could
look into my sinus.  Not a pleasant experience.  Now he ...
