5 weeks after FESS, turbinates still swell alternatingly like they used to, so essentially at any point I can only breathe through one side. there is improvement in that I can feel increased air flow from the side thats open.

I've been on augmentin for 10 days, am doing nasal washes 2x daily and finishing off with Rhinocort steriod spray. I've seen marked improvement in the following: my throat doesn't hurt as much in the morning

My husband suffers from a reoccuring sinus condition as well as allergies and we are looking into getting an air purifier for the bedroom. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks Liz

I started seeing a new ENT this past month & he thinks at least some of my continuing sinus problems are due to the large hole in my septum that developed after my first sinus surgery & then got bigger after the second sinus surgery.

Had sinus surgery in 1997. After surgery sinus problem was not only worse, but reaching severe limits. Used three bottles of commercial rinse "Ocean" every morning. Could not be out in normal humid conditions w/o swelling. Had 3 yrs. allergy shots-- no improvement.
