| What actually works for a cold? | 21 May 2005 02:13 GMT | 7 |
Sudafed doesn't work worth a &%#@ for cold! Good 'ol phenylpropanolamine worked terrific until a few idiots abused it and got it banned from the 99.9% of the rest of us who used it properly. So what actually works and dries you up when you have a cold?

| Haven't irrigated for a month | 20 May 2005 06:24 GMT | 2 |
Hello... I've never missed irrigating (3 X --or more--per day) for the last 4 or 5 years. ...In fact, I flushed out a major infection around the middle of last March (never did have to resort to antibiotics for this guy.) ....However, since that time I've gone about a month now

| What does this mean? | 18 May 2005 07:02 GMT | 1 |
Normally, breathing through my nose is restricted. I can pinch either nostril shut and inhale deeply and it's obvious the un-pinched nostril is not wide open. If I use Afrin I can breathe just fine through either side using the same pinch test. Does this mean I have just plain ...

| nasal sores | 16 May 2005 15:01 GMT | 2 |
What is the best thing to put on my nasal sores? They are just inside the nose, septal side, and not really sores, but more like the tissue has thinned and therefore they tend to bleed when wiping my nose. Will the tissue ever build up again? It looks like it has been scraped ...

| Sudafed non drying sinus versus Sudafed PE??? | 16 May 2005 12:34 GMT | 1 |
Is there a difference from Sudafed versus Sudafed PE? When I take Regular Sudafed my heart rate goes to around 110. Does the PE do the same? I just need something to open my nose . If I use sprays then I get the rebound affect if I take it more than 2 days. But if I clog up there

After the post (see below, last week) I tried irrigation after reading a reply. At first it seemed quite normal, my sinuses were getting washed out and the water was coming out after about 20 minutes, then after a few days (2 or 3 times daily) the water/smell stayed in there

| Anyone have experience with mycelex? | 11 May 2005 22:07 GMT | 9 |
I've been given it for the treatment of a yeast infection in my mouth. Yuck. A consequence of the aggressive anti-biotic treatment given post septoplasty surgery. It says it can cause nausea and vomitting. Two of the things I hate most in this world.... man, this isn't getting any

| Gum - Sinus Connection? | 10 May 2005 03:38 GMT | 6 |
In ideal low-humidity windows-wide-open air, my sinuses improve remarkably (they echo hollowly, not too much drainage). My gums always improve at exactly the same time. (They take on an entirely less irritated tone and sort of smack entirely differently).

| Nasal rinses | 09 May 2005 05:05 GMT | 11 |
Is it normal, after using a nasal rinse, in this case Hydra Sense Gentle Mist, to have some blood in the discharge? Not a lot, and mostly pale, not bright red.
