I have read the FAQ, and read many posts, but I wanted to talk about my specific example, I couldn't find anything concrete.. I have been living with what I guess may be chronic sinusits for a few years now.. I talked to a MD every year about it, with really not much

Dammit it's been hanging on for 3 weeks now. I almost wish I could rip my nose off and get a Michael Jackson implant...

| 6 Days Post-Op and Head Hurts | 10 Mar 2005 15:34 GMT | 1 |
I know it is probably the healing process. I can't remember how long it took me to feel "normal" again after the last surgery. I see my surgeon on Friday morning and plan to ask him about this dull ache on the left side of my face, where they did the surgery. I guess I had hoped ...

I used a otc nose spray and it opened me right up. (I only use it 1-2 times a month) But this time a weird looking tan/flesh/meaty thing came out. Yuk.. It was like a rubberband when I pulled it apart.. I had this a year ago when I got mad and blew my nose very hard in and out about ...

| Anyone explain post-viral inflammation condition? | 09 Mar 2005 05:18 GMT | 8 |
This is partly related to my other post, and is something I am confused about.. Whenever I get a bad cold virus these days, even if I have no evident sinus infection afterwards (as used to happen a few years ago), it

For What It's Worth: I don't mean to scare anyone but this was in the Obituaries of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Tuesday, March 1, 2005 so you can verify it. It is on the Internet at www.ajc.com page B5.

Can anyone give me an idea of what sinus infections may spread to the lungs, causing shortness of breath when doing anything more than normal activities, and bouts of coughing 20 minutes after physical exertion? Thanks a lot.

| surgery? | 08 Mar 2005 06:26 GMT | 8 |
I'm curious if anyone has had endoscopic surgery on their sinuses and how it all went? I have been having sinus problems for some years now, about 3 years ago a CT Scan found polyps or cysts in my maxillary sinuses. Coincidentally this was about the same time I started having

| IVIG for specific antibody deficiency | 08 Mar 2005 05:27 GMT | 10 |
I've been lurking for awhile but haven't posted. I would love to hear from someone who has been treated with IVIG for chronic sinusitis. I have had my first treatment, went off Avelox about two weeks later, and am now waiting with great anxiety to see what happens. I haven't been

| crunchy sound when turning head | 08 Mar 2005 02:53 GMT | 3 |
Whenever my `sinus problem' is bothering me and I have headaches and feel pressure I also hear a crunchy sound when I turn my head from left to right or the other way around. It also feels as if `there is something hard' in the back of my nasal pathway (nasopharynx). Does

| Surgery on Thursday | 07 Mar 2005 02:14 GMT | 8 |
I go in for endoscopic sinus surgery on Thursday. I did all of my pre-surgery stuff today at the doctor's office, which was basically discussing the surgery and recovery and what to expect. Even though this will be my 3rd sinus surgery (all on the left side) I am a bit anxious ...

| Strange symptoms - is it infection or virus hanging on? | 06 Mar 2005 16:58 GMT | 1 |
I have a history of sinus infections, though much less problematic recently. I had a virus recently which I thought I was over, but now I have symptoms which I think point to sinus infection, but because there's not much discharge (just congestion, relieved by

| Sinus Yoga Exercise | 06 Mar 2005 06:09 GMT | 3 |
I thought that others in this group might find this Yoga exercise as beneficial as I do for helping to keep the nasal passages clear. I've found it also helps to prevent the vertigo problem that I can experience on occasion. (I also occasionally use the Upside Down Method, but I use ...
