Any advice on these sinus symptoms08 Oct 2004 18:07 GMT6
I had surgery around 2 years ago on my sinuses, I did have relief for
about 3 to 6 months.  Now it is back with a vengeance.  My symptoms are
fatigue and a lot of pressure on my cheeks.  What drove me to the first
surgery and may make me go again is the intense tooth pain ...
Update - I'm Heading to Mayo Clinic08 Oct 2004 00:59 GMT4
Well after attempting to get approval from my insurance (Health Net).
They would not cover any of my expenses to go to Mayo. One of the
claims people there recommended that I go see her allergist here in
town before I spend all my money going to mayo. I agreed to see him.

Hi, I am new here and have been having terrible frontal sinus headaches
Been on antibiodtics for four weeks (2 kinds) and nothing.  Had x-ray and
it shows a mucus membrane cyst in my right cheek sinus. Anyway, that is
not the part that hurts. It is over my eyes that is killing me.  ...
Irrigating with colloidal silver?07 Oct 2004 16:25 GMT8
I've been told, regarding my health in general, that I'm dehydrated
and have 'low grade' infections in my head and neck.
Advice was, of course, to drink more water and to start taking
colloidal silver as an anti-bacterial, antibiotic on a short term

Just wonder if there is a common denominator among us all.
We all seem so much alike, i was wondering if we could
set down our geneology, and compare what it is that
we may all have alike.

Has anyone used the new antibiotic, Ketek (telithromycin)?
If so, what were your experiences with it?

Just found this group a couple of weeks ago and have to say that I'm
finding it very interesting. I'm hoping for some help with my condition.
I've suffered from allergies all of my life. Some years worse than
others. Two or three times I've taken the allergy injections. They seem
Irrigating during infection03 Oct 2004 22:05 GMT8
Is it a good idea to use the nasal irrigator during an active
infection?  I am somewhat worried about moving any nasal or sinus
bacteria deeper into the sinus cavities.  Also, I was wondering if
anyone has had sinus infections, particularly ethmoid infections, that

Question on cilia:  I've been using the HydroPulse for many months.  The
plain-salt saline in my sinuses does not seem to come out on its own as
described by everyone, or perhaps it comes out much much slower than
anyone else.  I.e., it doesn't start draining down the back of my ...
physical exercise to prevent sinus polyps03 Oct 2004 18:06 GMT5
Has anyone had any experience with, or read any research about, physical
exercise helping to prevent or reduce sinus polyps? I've not heard this
myself, but I've been walking a lot lately, resulting in the loss of 30
lbs. over the last six weeks, and I've wondered about the ...

We both ended up with sinus after living too long in a flat that had a

I live in a heavily populated, heavily congested area where there is a
new store or restaraunt opening or closing every other day it seems
and the area is snarled with traffic. We have many 'health food'
stores scattered around and I told my tale of sinus woes to an
