Eardrum problem25 Sep 2004 04:09 GMT5
I've experienced an unusual problem with my eardrum.  Every so often
it goes into fibrillation, vibrating rapidly for about 20-30 secs.
This happens about a dozen times a day.  Its not painful, just
disconcerting.  I had a brief phone conversation with my ent about
Dr. Grossan, what is MCC? 25 Sep 2004 04:06 GMT1
Was reading your website and slammed right into the acronym MCC but
could not figure out from the context what it stands for.
Can you explain what this means please?
Here's example of text referencing MCC...
MCC - anyone know what that abbreviation means?25 Sep 2004 04:04 GMT1
Still digging for a definition of the abbreviation MCC. There is a
reference to 'MCC disorder'. I'm guessing it has to do with cilia, but
can't figure it out exactly.
Here's the context I have been reading about it in on Dr. Grossans
Anyone Else?25 Sep 2004 02:46 GMT2
I was thinking about all the things that have happened to me in the past
few years when my sinusitis/samters/pain became unmanagable and wondered
if anyone else had these experiences? I was gainfully employed making 40G
a year and had to miss loads of work for repeated surgeries and ...
Humidity and Sinusitis23 Sep 2004 03:57 GMT3
After this humid summer I have a bad sinus infection.  Does humidity
it self cause swelling in sinuses? Or is it the molds.  Anything extreme
bothers my sinuses -too dry or too humid.
recumbency rhinitis - gravity or pressure receptor22 Sep 2004 07:14 GMT1
Hi, anyoen have any thoughts on why sleeping on your right side makes the left airway open.++I think it must be due to blood moving away from swollen inferior turbinate to other side.++It seems unlikely that there are pressure receptors on your "side" (ribcage skin).++Anyone ...
Peroxide irrigation21 Sep 2004 23:56 GMT19
I've had chronic post nasal drip for about 4 years now, and thusfar
have been unable to put a dent in its persistence.  My most recent
attempt was nasal irrigation with a baking soda / salt mix, but it
didn't make a noticeable difference.
Calling Dr. Grossan...21 Sep 2004 05:10 GMT2
Hello Dr.  ...I'm about due for a new irrigation tip for my water-pik.
In about a month I'll be driving from British Columbia to San Diego.
..Rather than order over the internet, do you still have any specific
stores (on my route I-5) which handle your products?  ...Seems to me, at
Rhinocort question21 Sep 2004 01:12 GMT5
I refilled my prescription of Rhinocort and used it for the first
time, neglecting to throw away the old bottle (which apparently has
run out of the active ingredient, budesonide.) Now I don't know which
bottle is which.
wood furniture and allergies:19 Sep 2004 04:36 GMT12
I got the results of my allergy tests, and i was told that i was allegic to old
wood and old paper. The doctor's nurse said that i am allergic to mold and
there is something in old papers and old wood that produce mold. I have some
very old furniture. Does this mean that i must get ...
Alcohol consumption, nasal blockages, irritation, infection19 Sep 2004 01:02 GMT3
Is this a common course for infection, going from drinking too much to
getting blocked nasal passages to blowing your nose to the point of
irritation, which then leads to infection, which feels like a mild
virus or something?
New antibiotic on the market19 Sep 2004 00:26 GMT3
I read somewhere that a new antib. was approved and put on the market in July.
Sadly, I can't recall the name of it.  Anyone know?

embarrassing problem18 Sep 2004 02:31 GMT2
I get these large "boogers" (sorry, I don't know the technical term here!)
just behind my nose (usually one at a time on only one side). They are too
far back to remove by blowing my nose, and they feel sort of "stuck"
between my nose and throat.  The only way to remove them is by ...
Can't get no relief - damage from smoking?17 Sep 2004 14:48 GMT6
Hi all. I'm starting to get very worried. Very worried indeed. I've
been basically completely layed up for 6, maybe even 8 weeks now.
Being down two months in the summertime seems like an eternity.
Fortunately, I can work out of my home, but barely - just barely -
