Tonsillectomy13 Aug 2004 15:48 GMT7
The talk regarding adenoids in another thread got
me to thinking about tonsils.  I had my tonsils taken
out when I was around 8 years old.  The doctor took
them because they were doing my older sister and they

fungal Sinusitis12 Aug 2004 19:07 GMT3
Unfortunately the reason there is so much confusion on this subject is that the

Considering adenoidectomy12 Aug 2004 04:20 GMT3
I'm 31.  Have suffered from upper respiratory illnesses all of my
life.  I had my tonsils out at age 17 which was a big help.  My ENT
however did not remove my adenoids at that time.  Over the past year,
I've had probably 4 upper respiratory infections that have led to
Thanks for all the advice :-)11 Aug 2004 07:34 GMT4
Thanks for the advice. I've actually had my eyes checked out and they're
fine.  It happens more when the weather is humid or when I exercise I and I

visually, just feel kind of in like a dream state.
Flonase and Rhinocort10 Aug 2004 21:52 GMT3
A few years back I was prescribed a nasal spray for
inflammation due to allergies.  I don't remember what it

I used it for about 3 days and stopped because it seemed
Enlarged nose bridge, pressure and pain. Desperately need help. 10 Aug 2004 13:55 GMT3
Eight years ago when I was seventeen I noticed the bridge of my nose on my
left side was protruding slightly. Over the next few months it moved out
more and more and dragged the right side with it so my nose is off to one
side at the bridge. It was accompanied by almost constant ...

What's happened to this forum?
Where has everyone gone, or has there been a new miracle cure that no one
told me about?
What else can "cause" sinusitis?09 Aug 2004 07:11 GMT24
Sinus problems are genrally attributed to anatomical problems, allergies,
and now the latest from the Mayo Clinic, fungal infections. I'm rather
skeptical of the fungal theory though. I have had chronic sinusitis and
recurrent infections for years. I talked to a doctor about this ...

Serrapeptase - 40,000 I.U.'s  - dissolved clots and help inflamation08 Aug 2004 22:41 GMT7
Serrapeptase is a wonderful product.
This enzyme is powerful and I recommend it to anyone who desires to

The silkworm uses it to dissolve it's cocoon and when taken by a human

Grossnan/salt08 Aug 2004 02:53 GMT10
What kind of salt to use? I've been using table salt. Internal medical
doctor says use non-iodized or Kosher or canning salt. Are all 3 the
same? I use 1 tsp of salt. Also he suggested a little baking powder.
