Personally I am considering a deviated septum ONLY surgery. Could this really be so risky and require a long recovery time? Any surgery that involves bone is a bit more uncomfortable as to recovery time. Each person is different in pain level as you know. I had my septum

| Vertigo | 23 Aug 2004 18:22 GMT | 2 |
In 2001 I had sinus surgery and septoplasty, both have helped me tremendously. I no longer have sinus headaches or a congested nose, but since 2002 I have had recurring bouts with vertigo. My ENT has ran many tests and I seem to have "a weakness in my inner ear." I was wondering ...

| Chronic Steriod Use | 23 Aug 2004 10:52 GMT | 18 |

Cleveland Clinic "lost" my medical record and CD's of my CT Scans!! Give me a friggin (can I say friggin here?) break. They referred me to Ann Arbor because my ENT moved to Florida. Ann Arbor has no records for my upcoming visit and Cleveland now has no records to send them. Two ...

| Air Cleaners | 22 Aug 2004 01:51 GMT | 5 |
I've had persistent sinusitis for about 5 years, and have little luck with irrigation (grossan) or surgery. I am still puzzled as to whether my issues are allergy based, infection based, or something else. In my quest for solutions, I am thinking of getting an air cleaner. I've

| Study: How Ethmoid Sinuses Become Infected After FESS | 20 Aug 2004 17:19 GMT | 6 |
I inadvertently stumbled across the following interesting study. While healthy sinus cavities are normally thought to be sterile, it appears that FESS actually makes it *easier* for bacteria from the nasal passages to spread into the ethmoid sinuses, by making the ethmoid
