I'm curious if there are any medical devices out there designed to simply widen the nostrils. Something like a coil type contraption that would expand inside the nostrils and open it up? Something like that would allow far more airflow than strips.

I have a HEPA filter in my office, which doesn't help at all. My dust mite allergy is out of control despite the usual measures (plastic-encased bedding, hot water sheet/duvet washing, vinyl floors instead of carpet, etc).
