I need help and advice with a very serious problem.  For about 28
months now, I have had moderate to severe headaches and facial pain. I
believed that this stemmed from an unsatisfactory lasik procedure and
two dissapointing enhancements that followed shortly thereafter.  I
Bad Smell23 Jan 2004 17:15 GMT3
I went to my GP(who is also an ENT specialist) last week with a really
bad smell in my nose. He decided that it was probably a sinus problem.
This fits quite well with some other unexplained syptoms. He has
prescribed steroid drops, which are having very little effect at the

Relief from swollen sinus hell23 Jan 2004 02:13 GMT11
I've been having to deal with recurrent sinus infections the last few
months, but not as bad as the one in the last 2 weeks. Two weeks ago,
my sinuses became so swollen that my left sinus swelled completely
shut - nothing going in or coming out, compounded with my right sinus
Painful bump in roof of mouth -- any ideas?23 Jan 2004 01:01 GMT2
I have a painful bump in the roof of my mouth that seems to be linked
to sinus discomfort.  It seems to calm down and flatten out while I'm
sleeping but raises up and gets aggravated during the day (esp. when
eating).  It's about the size of a bee-bee (as in bee-bee gun) and is

At this point the pain is constant due to post ...

Nasal steroids21 Jan 2004 15:16 GMT8

miserable - LOL. I'm sure you all understand what I mean. I have to
laugh now, while I still can - barely.

Warning: harmful common additive in saline nasal sprays21 Jan 2004 04:31 GMT6
Wow, what can I say but thank you Dr. Grossman!
I've been using over the counter saline nasal sprays to battle severe

was making progress and symptoms where lessening then all of a sudden

would work.
vapor rub20 Jan 2004 05:02 GMT1
Is there a rebound reaction to mentholated Vapor Rub?  I'm finding it useful in treating my
stuffiness but wonder what the long term implications are.  I already irrigate, use Rhinocort and
drink lots of water.  But between my dust mite allergies, my evening medication and my ...

Risks with nasal irrigation?20 Jan 2004 02:38 GMT4
