What can a CT scan of sinuses tell you31 Jan 2004 15:43 GMT4
I've exhausted all the usual avenues of treatment for a 'sinus
infection'. Thinking maybe i don't have a sinus infection at all - no
stuffyness, mucus, nasal discharge - 'sinuses' are OK - problem is all
in the nose/turbinates -  extreme inflammation/swelling of the
non-medicinal treatment?31 Jan 2004 02:36 GMT6
My father has been suffering from really bad post nasal drip and it's
driving him crazy.  He's a diabetic with congestive heart failure and
prostate problems, so any kind of oral medication and/or herbal remedy
is out of the question.  Does anyone have suggestions for
Puzzled by inflammation, not infection, post virus?!30 Jan 2004 22:00 GMT23
I used to have infection problems until I learned about irrigation, which
solved my ongoing infection issues.

to irrigate a lot and not blow my nose too hard, I ALWAYS get inflamed sinuses

I have had a sinus problem for a year  now. I read about using distilled
water with some hydrogen peroxide.
My symptoms such as watery eyes when laying down and pain behind my left
went away immediately.

is the incidence of tympanosclerosis very high when you have tubes?
would removing the tube earlier reduce the chance of tympanosclerosis?
can tympanosclerosis be prevented? thanks!

Vibration sensation from teeth up to eyes?29 Jan 2004 03:27 GMT1
I posted this same question on sci.med.dentistry, just trying to find
out if anyone has had the same thing happen.  I'm "hoping" it's sinus
related, at least partially.  The lightheadedness is more bothersome
physically, but the vibration sensation is concerning me
Mucous retention cysts29 Jan 2004 02:23 GMT3
My recent visit to ENT the doctor said that I had mucous retention
cysts in both my sinuses(cheek area). I was curious if anyone knew
what type of symptoms someone might have from these. I have been
battling severe runny nose problems for 4 years now. The ENT says that
