Astelin!!! Is it the best thing ever?????15 Nov 2003 02:45 GMT2
OK, I'm sure that because I'm so desperate for a cure I'm convincing
myself of something but I'm going to enjoy it for now.

New to group - please help!13 Nov 2003 19:14 GMT7
Hi, I've been suffering with my sinuses for years, but this last year
has been the worst. At the moment I'm recovering from my worst bout of
sinusitis yet - pain in face, aches, severe fatigue, fever, runny
eyes/nose etc etc. I thought it was flu (stupid me!) and my dh dragged
Dr. Grossan - can we irrigate with Hydrogen Peroxide?13 Nov 2003 17:36 GMT3
Dr. Grossan:
I'm seeing more and more posts suggesting a small amount of Hydrogen
Peroxide added to water as an irrigation method.
How do you feel about this?  Any harm?  Is it worth a shot?  Can we
My sob story --- can anyone help?13 Nov 2003 02:51 GMT6
Here is my story……the best I can explain it….
My problems occur after I catch a bug.  My definition of bug is as

Tea and Milk10 Nov 2003 12:14 GMT13
Tea is good the sinuses. What is bad for the sinuses? I was told that
regular consumption of dairy product especially milk can cause sinus
problems. Does any one know of a study about the effect of milk on the
nasal system?
Post Nasal Drip from Radiation Therapy?10 Nov 2003 00:55 GMT2
Had throat cancer a few years ago and extensive radiation therapy in the
throat.  As a result, my salivary glands have diminished effectiveness.  My
doctor says some of the radiation has effected my nasal area.  This year I
have done a lot of coughing.  He says the coughing is due ...
sinusitis or ??09 Nov 2003 16:36 GMT1
Hi, I am new to this group and was happy to find it. I have been diagnosed
by Doc as having sinusitis. However, my I am not confident this is the right
diagnosis. So, I was wondering if anyone had experienced the same symptoms
as I do? I get this "sinus infection" twice a year which ...
After 20 minutes, then what?09 Nov 2003 15:38 GMT2
It's been an hour after I irrigated with the Hydro Pulse, BreathEase XL (two
500 ml treatments).  Nothing has come out, and, my nose still seems stuffy.
Should I have gotten a "rush" of the solution pouring out?
Thanks!
Correct angle with Hydro Pulse09 Nov 2003 15:37 GMT2
Just bought it, and, used it for the first time--did two treatments with the
BreathEase XL, but, have a question on the angle.  The picture in the book
seems to show that the nostrils are at 90 degrees to the floor.  I noticed
if I was at 90 degreess or tipped my head more up (back) ...

Eating and postnasal drainage07 Nov 2003 23:54 GMT7
Whenever I eat, I get copious amounts of postnasal drip.  Soda and sugar
products seem to be the worse offenders. A nurse claimed it was a reflex
but that dosn't make sense to me.  What causes this reaction?
                                       Thanks
Chronic Sinusitis/Fibromyalgia07 Nov 2003 19:01 GMT2
Has anyone had chronic sinusitis for 10 years or more and has been
 "cured"?
I have noticed that some people with fibromyalgia have chronic sinusitis
(low immunity?) and have reported that after years and years of sinusitis
Methylprednisolone07 Nov 2003 18:34 GMT3
Can anyone share some insights with me on using Prednisone for a sinus/throat
infection? What is the reason for using prednisone?
My ENT gave me a 6 day packet. I've been on it a couple of days and find myself
a little hyper. Is that usual?
