I was wondering if double strength Bactrim is a good antibiotic for chronic sinusitis? I have tenderness on the bony portion of my eye socket above my eyes and an MRI showed a thickening of my ethmoid mucosa consistent with sinusitis.

I've posted a few times before asking about astelin. Someone has since told me about homoeopathic remedies, specifically Luffa and Antifect. There's not much information on both on the web. Has anyone here tried them? if so what was your verdict?

i'm wondering if irrigating does give some pressure to "pull" the mucous that's near the ear, somehow i also wonder if with myringotomy, air will go in and thus there will be no pressure to resist the pulling of mucous by the irrigator.

I'm still rather new to nasal irrigation as well as learning about sinusitis. I started irrigating this past March, and have noticed that my breathing has improved a lot over the summer. However, now that the cold weather has arrived, my sinus problems have returned full force.
