TRUS (a sonographic check of your prostate) and EPS (a culture for bacteria
made from prostatatic fluid pressed out during an exam) are mainstream stuff --
at least if you believe the Guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control.
But very few doctors seem to give them.

I've had blood in my urine off and on for about a week. The doctor
said my prostate was "boggy" and he gave me cipro for 20 days. I'm
passing clots, then my urine will clear until more clots pass. I have
