Success31 Jul 2008 07:06 GMT4
Finally, after (almost) two years, Larry had *full* success with the
Viagra/Muse combo.  Two years with not even a stuffable erection and for
whatever reason, today was the day.  It honestly was like pre-surgery days
and we both cried!!  He has been so frustrated that I was ...

Two Weeks After Robotic Surgery27 Jul 2008 21:12 GMT6
Everything going well but started noticing blood after urinating. At the
very end there are drops of blood. Not really any discomfort, not anymore
than usual anyway. Is this normal? I admit I had started going back to a
normal routine, grocery shopping, bathing my 2 year old son, ...

Second post-op PSA result27 Jul 2008 15:44 GMT1
For the record, I've gotten through six months post-op with PSA <0.01.  I'm
more than a little apprehensive about these tests since the post surgery
pathology showed one or more microscopic positive margins in my prostate.  I
sure hope those PSA results continue!
Very good news27 Jul 2008 12:35 GMT8
Psa check and it's <0.01 after almost five years from rrp.
Age 58
Gleason score 3+2
psa at rrp  3.9

18 months following Brachy...26 Jul 2008 14:39 GMT2
Last two PSAs were 0.9  This week it was down to 0.6  But....I also suffer
from kidney stones, and have had two episodes in the past 3 months.
Scheduled for the lithotrypsy procedure in 2 weeks.  I have heard pros and
cons about the after effects.
melatonin26 Jul 2008 06:55 GMT3
I've been intermittent with ADT after failing radiation for about 10 years.
Recently I started 3 mg daily of melatonin.  This sleep aid has slightly
reduced my PSA (now 2.98). Has anyone else looked into the over-the-counter
drug ?  I have misplaced the article suggesting the use ...
Two years post LRP- negligible PSA25 Jul 2008 16:41 GMT2
The header says it all, I just got my two year anniversery PSA results back.
I feel cured, but I know it can always come back. Incontinence is not a
problem but erections are still mostly elusive. Injections work, but are not
all that satisfying.
Progress after RLRP24 Jul 2008 22:39 GMT4
RLRP was done 6/2 as posted earlier.  Due to various scheduling issues I
finally met with my surgeon today and reviewed path report and general
progress.
My biopsy was done based on my brothers experience with a .8 PSA and a lump
Nerve Sparing Surgery....24 Jul 2008 19:41 GMT73
Why do they call it nerve sparing surgery when some of the nerves are
removed? Also, why don't they tell you in advance that nerve sparing doesn't
mean that you will have all of your nerves after the surgery. I lost just
over 20% of my nerves on both sides. Lots of post surgery ...
