Penile Implants08 Mar 2008 23:35 GMT8
I would be interested in hearing from those in this NG who could provide me
with information about their experiences with penile implants. Having had RP
in December 2006 followed by Radiation (IMRT) in April/May of 2007 at 60
years of age I am now unable to achieve an erection. Meds ...
PSA and EPCA08 Mar 2008 21:58 GMT4
I have a PSA of 7.5 and have had two biopsy's. I found that there is a
test that was discovered four years ago that isn't being used.
EPCA or Early Prostate Cancer Antigen. It says if this anitgen is found
there is a 95% chance of cancer. Why in the world is this not being used
Larry's surgery07 Mar 2008 18:11 GMT6
I just wanted to  let you know what has gone on since my first post, I
believe in the late fall. Larry had a Gleason scale of 3+3= 6 determined by
the 2nd biopsy.  Cancer on a microscopic level. He also had a history of
rising psa's. Larry is a young and healthy 58 year guy. Several ...
re Larry's surgery07 Mar 2008 11:28 GMT1
If you still can get messages on this group, I saw that I initially posted
on 10/02/07 10/16/07 and 10/24/07 about Larry and his psa etc..  His last
psa  then was 5.2. He had 2 biopsies. The first inconclusive ( suspicious )
and the second 3 months later  with the Gleason 3 +3,  ...
Latest PSA07 Mar 2008 11:26 GMT6
I'm still around, just lurking. Latest PSA yesterday was 0.2, a bit higher
than the previous 0.14, but I don't think the difference is significant
enough to fret over at this time. It's been about 3 1/2 years since the
brachytherapy and 2 years following a bypass. My only ...
Annual report #1107 Mar 2008 08:32 GMT9
Just a brief history:  First ever PSA test in January 1997 was 45+.
Bone scan OK. Lymph nodes at surgery on March 5, 1997 OK.  PSA tests
each three months for three years <0.1.  When PSA rose to almost 2
started on Lupron and later added Casodex.  <0.1 for three years then
Blocking Protein Kills cancer cells06 Mar 2008 22:40 GMT6
And if the hot peppers don't work, researchers at Kimmel Cancer center in
Philadelphia have shown they can kill cancer cells by blocking a signaling
protein that is key to the cancers growth called

Researchers ID Promising New cancer Drug06 Mar 2008 19:16 GMT2
Well if the Hot-Peppers don't do the job maybe this new drug being
developed will do the job called M-219 from the University of Michigan.

Post Radiation PSA - Continues to trend down!06 Mar 2008 00:34 GMT4
I just wanted to post a little note to say that we just got back our 4th
PSA results since radiation ended.  Allen's PSA is still trending down at
0.02 (was at 0.05 three months ago).  We are very thankful for the results
(we still get "PSA anxiety" with every blood draw until the ...
Inexpensive cure for Prostate Cancer05 Mar 2008 20:40 GMT1
Looks like they finally found an inexpensive cure for prostate cancer. Buy
stock in those Mexican restaurants. Hot peppers kill androgen dependent
and independent cancer cells.

For Kramer's Log05 Mar 2008 09:17 GMT8
Seems like only yesterday that my PSA exploded with mets to L2 & T3.
Certainly glad that I got real aggressive and started a Chemo trial at
Baylor College of Medicine in June of 2004.
Today, PSA still undetectible and best of all, scans are still clean.
Address for the newsgroup04 Mar 2008 18:00 GMT15
What is the address for the newsgroup?  I want Jim to at least have it.  He
reads my diabetic support group newsgroup with me, and he needs to be
hearing what you all are saying.  I still am answering your replies to me,
but I can see things in your replies he needs to hear from ...
Questions from a wife - husband for robotic prostatectomy 3/1904 Mar 2008 02:26 GMT14
My husband, 68, is due for a robotic prostatectomy March 19th.
Our situation is that I (65) am totally disabled; he does everything for us.
It is my legs, rather the lack of use of my legs that defines my disability.
The Myasthenia Gravis affects

My compelling proof of milk as a promoter of my cancers03 Mar 2008 16:14 GMT23
I am age 67 now and have been cancer free for 3 years.  I have
gathered solid evidence that
eliminating milk and dairy foods in my diet stopped my continuous
progression of  4 cancers
