I had my RP 5 weeks ago but have advanced pca. My psa is already starting to rise (0.8 at 3 weeks, 1.37 at 5 weeks). I know I have to go on hormone therapy, most likely Lupron and Casodex, although the specifics have not been discussed.

Hi, guys. First of all, a little update. My original, high-power Houston urologist responded to my question about my three recent detectable PSAs (after IMRT in 2005) w/ the recommendation to "sit tight" (his words) for 6 months and then retest.

I am standing on the brink of ADT, so have read all these threads with great interest, and I thank all contributors - including all the usual suspects - in our NG they are admirable and highly informed ones! Bogey I'm sure would have been proud of them.
