Again, I'm not trying to be my own doctor, just wondering about imaging technology. I looked up color doppler yesterday, and it seemed to be an excellent diagnostic tool. What would an MRI, or MRIS, give you that a color doppler doesn't?

Paul's 10 month post-proton treatment PSA, taken yesterday 3/25/2008, is 0.8 (This is down 33% from the September 2007 reading of 1.2). Needless to say, we're quite happy. We have an appointment with the local urologist, who is doing the follow-up, on Friday 3/28.

I keep reading that cancer needs lots of glucose. Does adjusting one's diet help starve the cancer, or will it steal what it needs from any level that the body has?
