I sincerely thank all those who responded to my message.  It's a great
help to receive information from people in the same boat as myself.  I
have to say I don't have a lot of faith in many of the Doctors these

A few years ago I was taking Glucosamine/Chondroitin as a preventative
for joint problems.  I read somewhere that a prostate cancer expert
Snuffy Myers?) said that there was evidence that Chondroitin caused the
cancer to metastisise.  I stopped taking it since I had seeds for PC.

I last posted in August as my husband's psa was on the rise.  It was
1.16 in August.  He had another test last week and it was 1.56. He has
seen an oncologist at Mount Sinai in Toronto who has confirmed that
the cancer has metastisized and they recommend that he start hormone

I wonder if any of you have this experience. Also, what do think is
the best course to get a proper diognosis?
After my biopsy, the pathology report came back with an indication of
cancer giving me a GS of 6, with a PSA of 7.5 and staging of T1c.
