"Biochemical Failure"--I have read conflicting definitions of this
phenomenon.

in nutshell the study just released says that PC patient on Lupron still
develops metastatic cancer and because of testosterone depletion rate
for hart attack is 3 times greater!!
no way to win with trying to suppress/cure PC.

I have been told that 2 months prior to Brachytherapy whether low dose
( radioactive seed implants) or high-dose (exposing prostate tissue
directly to radioactive material tubes or catheters placed in the

The saga goes on:
I was told Politics and Poverty denied my scheduled BMD test to set a
baseline 3 yrs ago when I entered the Clinical Trial, Oct 2004.
I did 18mths on Lucrin (sim Lupron).

My husband still takes Flomax 1x a day.
This just started to burn again if urine dribbles in his penis.
Is this normal, or is it something in his diet now??

I've dealt with all the mind blowing issues to consider and have
decided on a RP, via robotic.
I've done much research and I'm "comfortable" (hah!) with my choice of
surgeon and method.

As I get closer to qualifying for a clinical trial (either chemo  &
ADH  or just ADH ...link to study = http://tinyurl.com/34cev5 ).  I
wonder how the hormone therapy is going to effect my quality of life
