Annual PSA 0.02, the same result for the last 3 tests (previous post-

My husband  ( 57 ) has had  gradually rising psa's . His last PSA2 was 5.2

local hospital then sent them to Jonh Hopkins for further opinion.
Suspicious but no cancer.

morning. His reading was 1.2.

Cancer humor03 Oct 2007 22:13 GMT2
I was diagnosed with Stage III Hodgkin's back in December of 2006 and
am currently undergoing chemo. I took time off from my day job to get
through this whole "Cancer" thing. In my spare time, I created an
online T-Shirt and Swag shop called http://www.chucklenutshirts.com.
Questions about options after failing hormone therapy03 Oct 2007 07:02 GMT2
I am on hormone therapy but it is failing, my PSA has increased the third
time. I know from a preliminary conversation that the doctors will suggest
to continue with immuno therapy using Provenge. In preparation to the
discussion with the doctor, I have a few questions. I would ...

Just curious here.  Larry's RRP was last Sept.  His PSA was checked at the
time of catheter removal and again three months later.  At that time he was
told to come back in one year ... this Sept.  He called to make his appt. a
few weeks ago and can't get in until Dec. because the ...

Does anyone know of any promising clinical trials ?02 Oct 2007 05:55 GMT4
If I understood what I read a few months ago, the trial of a vaccine for
prostate cancer failed.  Am I correct?  I have looked around some for
something that might be helpful for patients with  refractory
antiandrogenic therapy, but I have not heard of anything except
Reimbursement for Tomotherapy01 Oct 2007 20:52 GMT1
I post a message several weeks ago regarding reimbursement for
CyberKnife therapy.
Does not appear that my Insurance carrier (Oxford) will cover the
treatments as they consider it "investigational" or " experimental".

cancer, according to a study by researchers at SUNY Upstate Medical
Possible Recurrence - Problems with PSA assay's?01 Oct 2007 14:41 GMT14
I was diagnosed and had an RP in 2002.  Since then, my PSA tests (now
annual) have been undectectable (<.05).  12 days ago, my test came
back at 0.13.  My oncologist said that the lab had "changed the way
they assay" or something like that and 10-20% of his patients (at a
