Hi everyone, this is my first post here after lurking the last couple of weeks. I have a family history of PC -- my Dad died of it in his 70s. I've been having yearly PSAs done for the last 10 years (I just turned 59)

I am 69 years old now and in 1999 I was diagnosed as having prostate cancer. My psa was in the high teens. A biopsy confirmed the diagnosis, and the Gleason was 8. I don't recall the other numbers, but I think I was T1c. I had an RP in 2000. The psa never did drop to near zero. ...

I have had recurring prostatitis over the years brought on by excess alcohol on weekends and vacations and a lot of bike riding. I am 58. My PSA at the time of the last episode of one drop of gross hematuria was 3.9 and free PSA was 19%.

I am 10 days post robotic radical nerve sparing prostatectomy and would like some information regarding potency issues. I notice a 40% erectile responce after mild self stimulation. Is this too early to experiment and/or expect an erectile responce?

Okay, at the prompting of some here, I added a test for testerone to my PSA test. It's 61. Now, what does that tell me? Oh, btw, PSA was <0.04 and I know what that means :-)
