I have had perforated diverticulitis colon resectioning(s) and wonder if IGRT/wide field radiation has been a problem with anyone in the group? A radiation/oncologist has opined it could be a serious problem.

Just checking in to report that it has been 10 years today since my surgery. You can check old posts for my history. My PSA was 45+and Gleason scores 6's, 7's and an 8. After three years a rise in PSA and started on Lupron (and for 3 years Casodex). At my last appointment

I'm closing in on 6 months since my prostatectomy and I still leak. Much of my leaking is due to stress like sneezing, coughing, bending over to tie my shoe and of course lifting objects. Is there still hope this will resolve by itself?

Testosterone is produced in smaller amounts in other body tissues, other than the testes. Why would a modern day therapy for prostate cancer be satisfied with just removing the testes, instead of administering Lupron, or similar hormone therapy?
