A sliver of benign prostate cells16 Jan 2007 18:35 GMT5
I haven't posted here in awhile. I got my latest PSA results today and
it still hovers around 0.08. It has been 2 1/2 years since my RRP and
my previous 6 month PSA readings have been .03, .08, .06., .05.
My urologist speculates that he left a sliver of benign prostate cells
Recovery from seeds - 14 days later16 Jan 2007 17:48 GMT13
Well, it was my turn in the barrel.  The urologist recommended surgery,
however, I've had several hernia ops where mesh was used.  Apparently, this
is a major complication to prostate removal.  My PSA was 4.4 with a gleason
score of 6.  Thus the seeding was done on Dec. 29th.  3 ...

U. S. VA patient alert15 Jan 2007 00:49 GMT7
The VA has begun a formal program to offload much of its cost to TriCare
and any other insurance we have. Part of that program includes billing
other coverage every chance they get, which can increase our
out-of-pocket cost beyond its premium costs. I've not read much more
some good new to share14 Jan 2007 23:14 GMT6
I just off the phone with my urologist's office, and my first
post-surgery PSA number came back.  It's under 0.01!  I'm going to run
upstairs right now and bust into the middle of my wife's class with the
news.
Pre-RLRP Preparation & Post Op Recovery- Your advice?14 Jan 2007 23:10 GMT25
Hello, all.
I'll be heading off to surgery at Columbia Presb, NYC with Dr. Samadi,
one day soon, and as I prepare, I'm curious what those of you that have
had RLRP would recommend to me by way of preparation and aftercare.
Recovery from seeding - Day 1514 Jan 2007 20:21 GMT6
Last night was the most comfortable yet.  The "backflush" pain from
urinating seems to have passed.  And I can pee freely again with little
discomfort.  However, I have been experiencing gas, or what feels like
pressure in the rectum that eases when I do pass gas.  I increased my ...
Recovery times14 Jan 2007 16:23 GMT14
I'm scheduled for RRP in Feb.
My question is does anyone think that it is possible to drive 300 miles
after waiting 1 week?
I'm 61 and in reasonably good shape.
questionable incontinence treatments14 Jan 2007 04:26 GMT22
Now about seven weeks post-RRP (11/17/2006), my local urologist
recommended a collogen injection to the neck of my bladder via
cystoscopy, scheduled next month, to help dry me out. He also
prescribed 15 mg. of Enablex. He gave me an injection in my arm to test
complexed psa when to repeat biopsy13 Jan 2007 20:22 GMT8
I've gotten a lot of help from the group, now I'm asking for a few more
comments.
My PSA history is below. Back in March 2006 I had a biopsy, 14 cores, of
which two were directed.
