Prostate biopsy can distinguish cancer from non-cancer just when they
puncture the cancer. However, statistics show that for any reason most
biopsies do not puncture cancer.

I joined this group in early 2002, after being diagnosed with PCa.  PSA
in December 2001 was 704, and after a biopsy on 22 december, my Gleason
score turned out to be 3+4=7.

Just got my 5 year PSA result, 5 years after seeding..... <0.1.  It took me
2.5 years to get to <0.1, and I have held there for the last 2.5 years.  My
urologist said "you won, you're home free!"  I still have to get yearly PSA
tests, up to now I had one every 6 months.  I think ...

Maybe this is a foolish question.  How can there be a PSA test result if the
prostate is removed?

Still lurking, but haven't posted in quite a while.  PSA today was 0.01.
Urinary functions are 100% ok, all "other" functions are probably 95% what
they were with or without vitamin V.  I feel that I am one lucky guy.  I
would recommend my surgeon for anyone looking for a surgeon ...
