Prostate biopsy can distinguish cancer from non-cancer just when they puncture the cancer. However, statistics show that for any reason most biopsies do not puncture cancer. This experiment shows what happens to the prostate with the biopsy:

It was June 29, 1992 and at this very time of the day I was undergoing radical prostatectomy at University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. Little did I know that I was going to be fighting for my life after this surgery that lasted over 5 hours.

New readers start here: I joined this group in early 2002, after being diagnosed with PCa. PSA in December 2001 was 704, and after a biopsy on 22 december, my Gleason score turned out to be 3+4=7.

Just got my 5 year PSA result, 5 years after seeding..... <0.1. It took me 2.5 years to get to <0.1, and I have held there for the last 2.5 years. My urologist said "you won, you're home free!" I still have to get yearly PSA tests, up to now I had one every 6 months. I think ...

Still lurking, but haven't posted in quite a while. PSA today was 0.01. Urinary functions are 100% ok, all "other" functions are probably 95% what they were with or without vitamin V. I feel that I am one lucky guy. I would recommend my surgeon for anyone looking for a surgeon ...
