The radiation oncologist has suggested I have IMRT starting July 17 (my surgery was on May 10). This is simply a "pre-caution" I suppose, in case there was something left behind. He plans to do this in 28 daily sessions, 180 units each time (he recommended 5000 units of IMRT).

Guys good news my PSA is heading south. One month after SRT I am at 0.24. Doc says since it's only 1 month we probably hit target. Wonder how long before I see nadir?

Does anyone know about this ? VA doc said mine low at 3.5, should be 3.8 or so...something about the heart, I started on Bananas and my PVC's seem to have let up??? As for my PSA still good going.. Howie

I have just met a chap who's PSA was recorded as over 200, has anyone ever head of such a score? This person is approx 57 years old and had radiotherapy treatment but the cancer has got into his arms now (bones).

I had my surgery on May 10. I was given sample Viagra today (100 mg. - recommended dose 1/2 pill a day - to see if I have any side effects). Once the trial dose if finished, I am to take half a pill everyday (I hope I can afford it!)
