Ultrasound or MRI05 May 2006 21:44 GMT3
I had an ultrasound (pelvic, not even rectal), the doctor said he couldn't see any cancer.
Will an MRI do a much better job?
I'm in pain here...
May 2006 follow up: "Is melanoma simply a Vitamin D deficiency cancer?"05 May 2006 21:26 GMT11
TO: All melanoma researchers, doctors, and patients.
Examine any book or website about melanoma, or visit any
dermatologist's office, and you will find plentiful information on how
to minimize or eliminate your sun exposure, but none on how to optimize
Turn $3.00 into $8,623.0005 May 2006 20:34 GMT1
I turned $3.00 into $8,623.00 using StormPay
I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I SAW HOW MUCH MONEY CAME FLOODING INTO MY STORMPAY
ACCOUNT.
Try to look at this program with an open mind. At least think about it

First, I want to thank you all for your help in bringing me from a
basket case upon diagnosis (10/04) to just a 'case' now.  :-)
My RRP was done on March 21st 2005 by Dr. Catalona at Northwestern here
in Chicago.
R.I.P. Earl Woods05 May 2006 04:13 GMT3
Just heard on the radio that Earl Woods, father of golfer Tiger Woods,
succumbed today to prostate cancer. Woods, who served two tours in Vietnam
in the Green Berets, was diagnosed with PCa in 1998, I believe. Tiger Woods
had recently announced he would not be playing in any tour ...

update on TURP05 May 2006 02:03 GMT1
Post HDRB and after removal of the Foley Catheter, early Aug, 2005,
I've had very bad problems with Nocturia (1-2hrly intervals), due to
my having BPH  with gland @72 cc, in addition to aggressive PCA.
I have, all this time, refused to self-catheterise, due to my seeing
VA Surgeons05 May 2006 00:51 GMT1
I have a friend who is facing PC surgery. he is a veteran, and the
surgery would most likely be in the Washington DC or Baltimore area. Is
he at the mercy of whoever is available that day to operate? Could he
chose? how do we find out who is available?
Prostate Growth04 May 2006 23:05 GMT6
Does anyone know how fast the prostate can enlarge in a year? I know
this is something of an odd question, but perhaps there is an equation.
(Prostate growth in grams) and (Psa value) over a given time can yield
more psa due to enlargement rather than the supposed slow growth ...
Burning sensation during urination04 May 2006 22:43 GMT16
Hi...my uncle, age 63, was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August of
2005.  He had the radiation seeds implanted a few weeks after being
diagnosed.  He is currently experiencing a strong burning sensation
during urination.  Is this common with prostate cancer?
post rrp impotence, viagra v. pump04 May 2006 17:16 GMT7
Well, I'm 5 months post rrp and Viagra just isn't doing it for me.  Has
anybody tried the vacuum pump?  How well do they work?  Does all the
mechanical stuff take away from the experience?
Thanks
4 years and it's good news04 May 2006 03:47 GMT7
It will be 4 years May 3 since my husband's last treatment for PC. His 4
year check up was yesterday and his PSA is 0.01. Our doctor refers to that
as undetectable and he was pleased. He was so pleased he told us we did not
have to come back and hubby's PSA could be checked yearly ...
Slightly OT: but may be helpful03 May 2006 21:39 GMT5
Just yesterday, I went for an independent Bladder Scan, prior to
visiting a Uro on Thurs, to discuss a TURP to ease my more than
partial urethral stricture since the HDRB in July last.
The "evil catheter lady", (continence educator), is Indian and quite
