PSA Drop Rate12 May 2006 07:15 GMT4
Is ther any typical rate at which PSA drops whn you are started on
Hormane therapy? I started Lurpron and Casodex on 3/17 and my PSA on
4/10 was 6.1 from 44. I was jsut curious if that is typical, unusually
slow or rapid.  On 5/3 it was 3.1. tah seems pretty good to me.
Salvage Radiation Update11 May 2006 21:57 GMT2
My psa test just came back at <0.01.
It's been 37 months since I started salvage radiation for a psa
recurrence 3 months after RP. It gives some hope for those going
through SRT.  Hoping for long term remittance. But the stats seem to go

bear we call PCa. Our prayers are with you and the boys as you begin the
Surgery09 May 2006 20:26 GMT6
The day has come....
Thank you for all your help, I have been reading the posts since Dec.
2005.  I will have my surgery on May 10 @ USC.  Because of your advise:

PCa and ebrt website09 May 2006 15:20 GMT1
This is just a periodic reminder about the website
www.prostate-cancer-radiotherapy.org.uk that I maintain. It covers the
specific treatment of prostate cancer by external beam radiotherapy and I
hope covers most of the issues associated with this form of therapy. There
update on Steve09 May 2006 00:26 GMT19
Well, Steve had--TRIED to have-- his 2nd chemo (Taxotere) today.  He
had a reaction to the first one 3 weeks ago--felt like his lungs were
filling with fluid, red face.  They gave him something, he stabilized,
and they finished the chemo.  Today they gave him the extra reaction
Does DHEA work08 May 2006 19:52 GMT5
Has anyone tried this stuff?  It's supposed to replace testosterone.
I'm too lazy to sift through all the websites on it. Some say it's
"snake oil", others say it's just the ticket to fix a testosterone
shortage. If it does work, is it safe for someone with PC??
hello all and God bless, question about post RP08 May 2006 19:29 GMT10

(Approximately two weeks) I noticed my urine was very oily. For maybe

I found my surgical path report, I'm not sure what's relevant and
what's not.
It says,

Am I in line07 May 2006 13:45 GMT4
I'm a newbie on this group and I have a typical male problem that "might" be
prostate trouble. I'm 49 years old, have trouble holding / getting an
erection. My libido is at an all time low. I have diabetes with 4 insulin
injections a day. I have trouble sleeping. I urinate ...
