British Study - No Benefit From Radical Treatment for Low Gleasons23 May 2006 23:17 GMT58
There's a provocative study in the British Journal of Cancer, April 2006.
See http://www.nature.com/bjc/journal/v94/n10/full/6603105a.html
It looked at other studies (that is, it did not do direct research on men
with PCa, but analyzed data published by others.) It looked at the ...

I'm about to undergo a clinical trial that uses Zolodex and Casodex.
I'm about 4 months out of my "successful cancer contained" RRP. My post
op pathology was a Gleeson 8, no lymph or seminicle invasion and one
positive apical margin. I've had two .1 PSA tests so far. My question
Radical Retropubic Prostatectomy report23 May 2006 13:29 GMT4
My surgery is done (one nerve "saved")!  Here are my comments:

asked not to eat/drink anything after midnight and be there at 7 am.
- On the day of the surgery (May 10 @ 7 am), all IV tubes were
Biopsy complications23 May 2006 05:40 GMT2
I just had ten biopsy samples taken and they use cream.  Now, I felt like
going to toilet but as I was walking home, I resisted and went later on.
Could this toilet pierce through the holes created by biopsies and cause
infection in stomach or bowl area?

and I rashly added  I'd contribute next day.
Question about use of Celebrex and statins 19 May 2006 18:35 GMT3
Studies have shown that Celebrex and statins can halt rising PSA or
even lower PSA levels in men with recurrent PCa.  However, I don't
believe either of these has been officially certified by the FDA for
this use.  Can a physician legally (even ethically) prescribe these
