Well,
As ever, I want to thank everyone for their help. I had scheduled a biopsy
for April 11th,but due to scheduling issues, the doctor asked if I could
change to next Tuesday.

Steve's catheter came out today and he has been almost perfectly
continent.  Excellent control, volume, etc.  We took it out before the
trip to Phoenix so we could be sure it was working, then met with the

First my History:
10/01      Lap RP; Gleason 4+3; T2bNOMx; tumor extended into but not
through capsule, clean margins and lymph nodes; highest PSA was 7.3
prior to surgery

I am very sorry indeed to see the worrisome path results you have mentioned.
I am not such a fool as to recommend for or against any particular tx,
though you are aware that there is much to be done.
Do your own research and accept no one's harangues as gospel.

I've gotten a lot of help from this group, and now I'm asking for more.
Briefly, I had a PSA of 5.4 in September, 2005. Previous  PSA's were 1/14/04
1.6 , 2/17/02 1.5 ging back to 1.1 in 10/11/01.
Re-test PSA in November 2005 was 1.9. Saw URO who suggested one more re-test
