Radiation Machine Problems16 Apr 2005 02:18 GMT9
My father started his radiation treatment for a recurrent prostate cancer
(elevated post-RRP PSA) about two weeks ago. Unfortunately, the machine that
they are using on him keeps breaking down quite often. This means that he
has to take breaks between his treatments, sometimes ...
First post surgery psa report16 Apr 2005 01:54 GMT6
Had robotic surgery on 12/14/04 at 53 with The Cleveland Clinic Hospital
here in Weston, So Florida. Just got up enough nerve to have my psa
checked last Monday. I was a few weeks late, I know. I was clinically a
T1c, Gleason 6, and psa of 7.6. Path report came back T2c, 4+3, no

Any good androgen deprivation stories out there?15 Apr 2005 17:21 GMT3
A friend of mine went to the doctor recently for a routine
checkup.  He had just retired and had a boatload of plans
for enjoying himself.
The PSA test in his checkup came back 245.  He got
Oops!  Overdoing it walking?15 Apr 2005 05:00 GMT9
I had RRP surgery 11 days ago.  Doing great, feeling great, and it keeps
getting better and better.  Common wisdom says to walk, so in addition
to roaming the house, I've been on the treadmill 20 or 30 minutes every
day for the week I've been home.  For the past few years, I ...
potency - thanks for all your replies14 Apr 2005 15:29 GMT15
thanks to everyone who replied to my previous post.
I guess this is a bit of ranting. I just find that although I can get it up
with manual stimulation it is just not as stiff as it used to be and it
comes down quickly.

Phoenix514 Apr 2005 02:51 GMT1
I just recommended the phoenix5 website to a friend on a list, and another
person pointed out that the site has not been updated in 2 years, so some
information is not current.  Is anyone in touch with Robert's wife?  Any
plans to try and update the info??  I still feel that ...

Flomax use13 Apr 2005 12:58 GMT6
any information about your experience getting off of Flomax would be
appreciated.  Did you get advice from your Urologist?  I am over 4
months post seeding and wondering if I am ready to stop using it.
Thanks
importance of potency12 Apr 2005 23:51 GMT13
I'm really quite suprised to learn from this group how (vitally)
important potency is to the lives of so many people, I had know idea
this was the case. I'm 55, single, and really have no interest in that
anymore (the hormones aren't raging like they did 20-30 years ago). I
Head up his b*tt12 Apr 2005 20:09 GMT18
Hi again all
You may recall I posted about the pompous Brit in the XRT waiting room
a couple of weeks ago.
He's 73, PSA was 24.0, 3 cores G9, 2 cores G7 and others benign.
Pharmaceutical marketing and how it affects you.......12 Apr 2005 16:55 GMT2
i ran across this article in the local newspaper and we, at the
newsgroup, have made references to particular type of drug or treatment
over another, as doctors will do, when you go for their advice.  what
makes this article is even intriguing.
A little climb in post-surgery PSA12 Apr 2005 04:18 GMT5
Hello all,  It has been ages since I posted.  My husband Allen just had his
second PSA test taken.  This time his regular doctor took it, versus his
urologist. In his original post-surgical (surgery August 2004) PSA he was
at .04 (great news!) He just had another test and the ...
