| Gleason probabilities | 17 Apr 2005 23:41 GMT | 70 |
I seem to read about someone being Dx with PCa with Gleason score in the range of 6 and 7(3+4). Are these the most common type PCa behaviour? Is there a site that has a breakdown of the Gleason probabilities?

I would appreciate any advice/guidelines on what to eat and not eat during my radiation therapy. (Posted at the request of my wife, who is as confused as I am about this.) Many thanks.

| The definitive model of prostate cancer | 17 Apr 2005 15:30 GMT | 10 |
I want to thank Leonard for encouraging me to submit my model to a peer reviewed journal. My model of prostate cancer is the only one to date that is totally consistent with all known experimental findings. For those who want to read it, the full text is available for free ...

| Tingling and Twitching in the Hands and Feet | 17 Apr 2005 12:29 GMT | 2 |
My friend who doesn't have a computer asked me to inquire: He has Gleason 10, metastized PC. He is being treated with standard drugs and is also taking various vitamins.

| Schiavo case impacts us directly | 17 Apr 2005 09:38 GMT | 19 |
Long, but even more important than our PC treatment decision, IMO: I quit watching that Schiavo blather weeks ago, because chasing contradictory snippets and revelations is a waste of time. Any decisons we make about her case are founded on the MEDIA, for God's sake, not facts.

| Incontinence question. | 16 Apr 2005 23:51 GMT | 17 |
I was just wondering if anyone else in the "leakers club" notices variation day to day in how many pads they need? I am an office worker and sit in front of a pc all day. On the weekends, when I work in the yard for example, I understand why I leak more due to the additional ...

| Update on PSA 45.5 | 16 Apr 2005 20:58 GMT | 5 |
In January, 1997, my first ever PSA at a routine physical was 45.5. Biopsy results with 6 cores were 6's, 7's and one 8. Bone scan was OK and lymph node biopsies from the surgery on March 5, 1997 were OK. I was 68 years old.

| Ultrasound therapy | 16 Apr 2005 20:54 GMT | 4 |
Doesa anyone know anything about this? It wouldn't apply to me (I'm to start the radiation in a few weeks, and I don't tihnk I can have an epidural anyway), but it seems to be located almost literally in my backyard, and I'm curious.

| Seed Radiation? | 16 Apr 2005 20:48 GMT | 3 |
No one here discusses seed radiation, just surgery. I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Gleason 6, infection % of biopsies 5%.DRE's and PSA's for 25 years have been good. A series of kidney stone xrays showed some bone growth in the pelvic and hip area's. Doc

| early incontinence progress | 16 Apr 2005 06:37 GMT | 13 |
It's very early yet, but so far, for me, this incontinence thing seems extremely hopeful, better even than in my dreams. My catheter was removed Tuesday afternoon (following RRP two weeks ago). It seemed pretty bad immeditely after, things got very wet immediately,

| Lingering Effects of Lupron | 16 Apr 2005 06:33 GMT | 12 |
This is a follow-up on comments that Alan made and I agreed with regarding the lingering effects of Lupron. I had Pd103 seeds implanted in June 04 and the last 4 mo.Lupron shot in Oct. 04, I just had the first PSA test a week ago that showed <.1, which is

| Bowel problems ? | 16 Apr 2005 03:22 GMT | 11 |
Been 16 days since I had my RP surgery. Off the catheter and not feeling too bad but my problem is that ever since surgery I have not had a 'normal' bowel movement. I don't have to go all of a sudden or whatever but each bowel movement is extremely loose stools. I was ...
