I got a call from Dr. Catalona last night.
He's gonna be my surgeon here at Northwestern in Chicago in a few weeks
and I had never spoken to him or met him before.
dx: age 56 PSA 7.2  T1c Gleason 3+4=7

Back home after surgery last wed. went well got the whole prostate. It was
quite large. Lost a lot of blood so my hemo is low. no pah report yet but am
optomistic.

in the next state that is doing the advertisement.

Went to uro today to get urodynamics in prep for AMS 800 implant
Tuesday. The nurse practitioner (nice guy at NWU Hospital, Chicago)
couldn't get the catheter type thing past the bladder neck into the
bladder, because of scar tissue at the juncture. (Boy was I in pain, as

So, where have all the bladder spasms gone??   When I had the surgery a
couple years ago that was one of the big topics of conversation.  The
bladder spasms were my greatest fear going into the surgery (I mean pain
wise), then I did not have any.

But I found this response from Dr Catalona's regarding PSA.
