COMMENTARY By John Kelso
I've come up with a cure for the Social Security problem - the apple tax.
The apple tax would work like this: Every time you buy something that's good
info of S.E. on the treatments of prostate cancer - what i found    out18 Mar 2005 18:48 GMT11

almost an hour and there are some very interesting facts that were
brought out.
here's some of them.
BMW and bone scan18 Mar 2005 17:25 GMT7
In another post I mentioned, tongue in cheek, that perhaps the doc was
recommending a bone scan in order to make a payment on his BMW.  While
I intended the comment to be a joke, I feel there is a lot of truth in
the implication and a lot of unnecessary testing done in the name of

burns a bit when urinating, also evenings I hurt  at the bottom end. And
when I go to urinate...using those muscles to get the pee going really
can hurt at times..is most of this pretty normal ? I see Uro 16th. ...
The big question18 Mar 2005 13:30 GMT96
I would imagine this is probably one of the biggest questions on this group
but I 'm gonna ask again. I'm 54, last week had biopsyies PSA is 4.1 , 3+3
and T1c.      The surgeon and my gut feeling says cut it out, be gone with
it (BTW is that what RRP is)? The radiation guy says ...
PSA less than one after treatment, now what?18 Mar 2005 06:15 GMT7
(my Internet provider has had major news server problems for months,
and I just this week finally starting getting news again, so I am way
behind, so excuse me if this has been answered.)
Short question, what now after radiation and Lupron treatments have

The following extract is taken from a pamphlet that was given to me by
a local herborist during my last visit to his store.

therapeutic effects of green tea against cancer and other diseases. But
A Big Worry17 Mar 2005 16:15 GMT13
My internist (who is about my age (56) and who has been my Dr. all of my
adult life) called me at 5pm and said that he got the bone scan.
This is the bone scan from last week that showed something suspicious in
a rib (another one had an old fracture but this rib was different)
blood in urine17 Mar 2005 09:47 GMT2
I had a cystoscopy and biopsy done 2 days ago. Everything is fine and there
is no pain. However I do have fresh blood in my urine just after I move my
bowel. At other times there is no blood, only straight after bowel
movements.
incontinence drugs . . .17 Mar 2005 03:29 GMT3
Saw incontinence specialist at NW Hosp Monday, he said there was a drug
for incont, that doesn't raise blood pressure. It ended with " . . .
mine". What would this be? (I'm going back in a couple weeks for
cystoscopy, so I can find out then, but thought one of you might know.)
sudden realization of reality17 Mar 2005 03:16 GMT5
I'm scheduled for RRP in two weeks. Age 66, PSA 4, Gleason 6 in one
sample of 12. It is early detection, and I'm lucky to be expecting the
best chances. It must be done, and I think I'm as prepared as I can be.
The plans are made, and for now, my coping stategy is to try to ...
