Better Surgical Outcomes Documented?09 Feb 2005 02:47 GMT11
A little help here?  Can any of you give me citations of studies that show
that surgical outcome in PCa is linked to the skill/experience of the
surgeon, and that care in a facility that has more surgeries is correlated
to better outcomes?

One year ago, I came to this group for information and advice after my
PSA came back at 4.6. I was 49 years old. I learned a lot from people
on this group.
A biopsy last year was negative. I was lucky and I'm thankful.

I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and have decided the
treatment for me is surgery.  It seems that the robotic LRP is the most

of procedures and results is a problem.  Does anyone have list of ...

Man whose tumour went untreated loses negligence battle07 Feb 2005 07:56 GMT1
my comments - although this article is about non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
instead of prostate cancer, if you were to substitute prostate cancer
instead of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, the supportive argument would be the
same.  just found it interesting.
My Dad's Post-RP PSA Result Not Great - Help Needed 07 Feb 2005 04:02 GMT72

years now, so some of you might remember me.

Berky06 Feb 2005 23:32 GMT4
It is with great regret that I forgot to mention our dear departed friend's,
Maynard Berkowitz, passing on January 18th, 2004.  Berky helped many of us
who were diagnosed in the late 90s to mid-2003 or so.  It seems appropriate
to mention his almost indomitable spirit.
