Just got back from a four night scenic vacation in the hospital, curtesy of pneumonia. Fever of 102-103 F and lungs that wouldn't let air in or out. I thought I was dying. Missed the first course of the new series of chemotherapy and will see the Doc about starting it next week ...

This morning I tried the second trimix injection. A couple comments. First, the injection itself is nothing. When I was first diagnosed and started reading I thought I could never give myself an injection in the penis. Forget that worry. I can feel the needle going in, ...

I am 3 weeks post op and doing well in the continence department, but am still baffled by why there are good days and bad days. I have gone 3 or 4 days with absolutely no leaking whatsoever, but just when I'm pronouncing myself prematurely 'cured' the next morning

| Recently Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer | 16 Dec 2004 02:06 GMT | 30 |
I was told my biopsy indicated cancer in the left side of the prostate. My gleason score was 6 (3,3). Over the past three years my PSA has went up to a level of 7. It did not come as a big surprise as it runs in the family. I am 63 years old.

| OT - HUMOR - ADULTS ONLY | 16 Dec 2004 00:22 GMT | 4 |
Hope I can be forgiven for an off topic post that has absolutely nothing to do with the subject at hand, and includes a reference to sex to boot (although not in the way that you think). No way to know if this was really true, but even better if it was.
