Hello again
This should bring some comments and controversy:

Did you miss me? I'm back!17 Dec 2004 12:11 GMT10
Just got back from a four night scenic vacation in the hospital, curtesy of
pneumonia.  Fever of 102-103 F  and lungs that wouldn't let air in or out.  I
thought I was dying.   Missed the first course of the new series of
chemotherapy and will see the Doc about starting it next week ...

Impotence - Adult Material.16 Dec 2004 23:36 GMT18
This morning I tried the second trimix injection.  A couple comments.
First, the injection itself is nothing.  When I was first diagnosed and
started reading I thought I could never give myself an injection in the
penis.  Forget that worry.  I can feel the needle going in, ...
Medicines for Incontinence - Informal Survey.16 Dec 2004 17:20 GMT8
I was talking to someone this weekend who had been given a
prescription for Detrol LA for incontinence.  My uro wrote
prescriptions for Ditropan, Oxytrol patch, and Detrol LA (in that
order, not all at once of course), but none of them ever worked for
Continence - good days and bad days16 Dec 2004 17:16 GMT12
I am 3 weeks post op and doing well in the continence department, but
am still baffled by why there are good days and bad days.
I have gone 3 or 4 days with absolutely no leaking whatsoever, but
just when I'm pronouncing myself prematurely 'cured' the next morning

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in October (PSA=7.5, T1c, Gleason score

anyone here have a port? (hickman or broviac or ?)16 Dec 2004 06:11 GMT6
I was wondering if anyone here has a port. I know that most of you (thank
God) are still in the curable stage and I haven't found Phoenix5 to be a
right fit, but I was looking for any info even 2nd hand.
1. did the placement require an overnight stay?
Recently Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer16 Dec 2004 02:06 GMT30
I was told my biopsy indicated cancer in the left side of the prostate.  My
gleason score was 6 (3,3).  Over the past three years my PSA has went up to
a level of 7.  It did not come as a big surprise as it runs in the family.
I am 63 years old.
OT - HUMOR - ADULTS ONLY16 Dec 2004 00:22 GMT4
Hope I can be forgiven for an off topic post that has
absolutely nothing to do with the subject at hand, and includes a
reference to sex to boot (although not in the way that you think).  No
way to know if this was really true, but even better if it was.

My first PSA test - Result is in15 Dec 2004 23:56 GMT12
Just a little history. My father died of PCa at the age of 74. He was
Dx at the age of 62. His cancer was aggressive.
I just turned 37, I decided now would be a good time to get the PSA
test done to establish a baseline. So at my request I asked my doctor
