Results of a 12 needle biopsy showed one needle showed Cancer... PSA 5.65, free PSA 10. Dr said most likely can is all in prostate..wants me to have bone scan and then talk treatments...any suggestions ? Seed, Beam radiation, Remove gland, cut the tubes in the family jewels ?

Subject says it. Prospects seem good (T1c, Gleason 6 -- 3+3, two cores out of 8, prostate volume ca 26 cc). Radiation oncologist is experienced and optimistic. Let's hope...

I had RP on Friday Nov 12, left the hospital on Sunday, and so far things are progressing OK. I will meet with the surgeon on Tuesday, Nov 23 to have the staples removed, get the catheter out, and hopefully get a good report from the pathologist.
