Life is Good13 Sep 2004 17:46 GMT6
We went through Hurricane Frances; the eye came right through Brandon. Got a
big oak tree down in the back yard, and some roof damage. The tree turned
out to have a colony of honey bees, and the tree guy won't even give me an
estimate until the bee guy has taken care of them. ...
Which works best: Viagra, Levitra or Cealis(sp)?13 Sep 2004 17:37 GMT13
Before my operation 18 months ago I was using Viagra.  After effects were
flushed face, blue haze and slight headache. Now that I may be able to start
getting erections I am wondering what the results are of the two new
drugs.TIA
One Month Post RRP (Life after RRP)13 Sep 2004 15:17 GMT1
Well today is 30 days post RRP.  I managed a 2 day 500 mile road trip
in the car and today I took the Harley out for a breakfast ride with my
wife on the back.  No problems.  Rode for about 40 miles got home and
was tired but at the same time exhilirated.

I haven't posted for a while but have been happily lurking.  Today, I
need some advice or anything that can shed light on my situation.  My
penis is bent down at a 90 degree angle!
I am 20 months post RP and, with only one nerve saved, have not yet

2nd Option on Biopsy - What to Do/Decide?12 Sep 2004 15:52 GMT22
Well, I just recently received a 2nd opinion from Bostwick Labs (thanks to
some recommendations from this board) on my 2nd biopsy and they confirmed
that I do have Tc1 staging, Gelason 6 (3+3), and a PSA of 3.4.  Of the 16
core needle samples (this time) they only found cancer ...
update. Curt11 Sep 2004 16:04 GMT5
We had the usual Zometa on Tuesday. Curt's favorite IV nurse moved to a
different site and he had this old lady from 1 time before. Again she had to
poke him 3 times in 2 different spots and still had to wiggle that needle
around.

John Trujillo10 Sep 2004 21:19 GMT5
To those in this group who don't know me, my husband John had RPP on July
16, 2003.  While his lymph nodes were clear, the margins were not.  He was
at the beginning of Stage 3 when his prostate was removed.  The two visits
subsequent to his catheter removal found no PSA.
Brothers Health10 Sep 2004 16:02 GMT6
Following my Dx last Nov. I urged my two brothers to get checked, one
immediately had a check up and the other some time later, both were fine as
far as Pca is concerned. The oldest (58) inquired how I was doing, then
informed me that he has been Dx'd with ALS or Lou Gerhigs Disease ...

Incontinence problem.10 Sep 2004 02:33 GMT4
It has been 2 1/2 years since my RRP and I still have a problem with
incontinence. If I have to go really bad I involuntarily start to go
sometimes quite badly.  I wear undergarments or pads constantly.  I'm
getting sick to death of it.  Has anyone had a similar problem with a
RRP Sept 2, 200410 Sep 2004 00:28 GMT22
I got my schedule today and the surgery has been moved up one day to Sept
2nd. Not a big deal. Get it over with that much sooner. I have to make
appts. to donate 2 units of blood to have on hand "just in case". Then on
Aug 27th I go for the Pre-Op blood work, clearance from my ...
OT: Sandi and other FL residents09 Sep 2004 15:39 GMT2
Please try to stay in touch or let us know as soon as possible that you are
okay when it is over. We had a hurricane a few years ago stall off the NC/VA
coast and even though we were on the "mild" side of it - it just dumped rain
on us for days and caused all sorts of damage. But ...
