Just a couple of quick questions. Does lead come from spent U232? Or from some other U? If they use iodine for brachytherapy does the iodine become something else? How do they make the seeds radioactive in the first place?

It was an exhilarating day. I got to run the 5k on the Big River run, sponsored by the Mendocino Cancer Resource Center. Over 300 folks were there on a brisk cool morning...I had fun, ran my a.s off and did it in 29.00 3.2 miles.

I had LRP on Aug 24th and am recovering fine BUT I have noticed a marked increase in sweat with any effort. Have any of you had a similar experience? I am wondering about Lymph node removal side effects or ??? I live South of LA and it's been hot but man, this is a lot of sweat.
